Whitney Houston and Brittany Spears play basketball for the Colorado Buffaloes. They are roommates, no less. What do you want to bet when the other players head out for karaoke, these kids are always invited? Rarely do we have the opportunity to interview two roommates as famous as these ladies. SOS: Brit and Whit, did anyone question you about selecting Colorado as your place to play basketball? BS: They say I’m crazy but I really don’t care. That’s my prerogative. SOS: Sure, you can choose any team you want. It is your prerogative. I’m just asking if it were the mountains or making new friends or did it have to do with your sister…? BS: I really don’t know the deal about my sister… trying hard to make it right. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really not souped. Ego trips is not my thing. SOS: And you, Whitney, do you think this team has a good future? Do they have a lot of young players coming in? WH: I believe the children are our future. SOS: Developing the youngsters, I understand. And should they be taught the game early? WH: Teach them well and let them lead the way. But I never found anyone to fulfill my needs, a lonely place to be so I learned to depend on me.  SOS: So you learned to be self reliant? To depend on yourself? To love yourself? WH: They can’t take away my dignity… because I found the greatest love of all inside of me. Learning to love yourself… SOS: Haven’t we heard this somewhere before? Brit, how do you describe your game? BS: Outrageous, when I move my body! Outrageous, when I’m on the scene! Outrageous, in my sexy jeans! Whoops, I did it again! SOS: So Whitney, are you enjoying being Brit’s roommate? Can you learn anything from her? WH: I learned from the best. I learned from you. Oh baby now, I learned from the best. SOS: That’s a nice compliment. That’s the way roommates should be. So college agrees with you? You guys are having fun, aren’t you? BS: Sometimes I let temptation go too far and get the best of me. All I’ve got to say I just wanna have some fun and I’ll do it until I’m done. I’m just a crazy kind of girl and I’ll tell it to the world. SOS: That sounds about right. Whitney, I know you appreciate Brit. Is there anything you want to say to her? WH: I hope life treats you kind. And I hope you have all you’ve dreamed of and I wish you joy and happiness but above all this… I wish you love. SOS: You guys really respect each other. So there’s no fighting over boyfriends or things like that? So you both are happy with who you see in the mirror? BS: There’s a girl in the mirror. I wonder who she is. Sometimes I think I know her, sometimes I really wish I did. WH: Hey, that girl in the mirror is you, girl. BS: Hey yourself, that’s not a Britney or Whitney lyric. I thought we agreed we were only going to answer in Brit/Whits. WH: Yeah, but that girl in the mirror stuff… just not believable. It’s dumb, really. |
